North Texas Giving Day is the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. It’s an 18-hour online event designed to let everyone support the local nonprofits and causes they care about on one easy-to-use website.
The impact of the event is profound. In 2017, 137,000 gifts were made, totaling $39 million. Those funds benefited 2,723 local nonprofits. In nine years, the event has raised $195 million for our community.
North Texas Giving Day is an event where everyone has the opportunity to help build a stronger and more vibrant community, and we hope YOU will participate, too. On September 20, let’s all “Get Up & Give!” North Texas Giving Day is presented by the Communities Foundation of Texas.
Thursday, Sept. 14, is North Texas Giving Day, an online event that allows North Texas residents to come together to raise as much money as possible for local nonprofits. Since 2009, #NTxGivingDay has pumped more than $156 million into our community. We encourage all our HEB Chamber members to “Get up and Give” for this important and worthy event. Thank you for your support!

Did you know that 55% of HEB ISD students come from homes that are economically disadvantaged? The goal of Operation Back 2 School is to supply these students with a new backpack, school supplies and provide their parents with resources to help all year long.
This year the goal is 6,000 students! With less than 2 weeks until the big event we have 2,000 kids remaining that need your help.
You can help a student start the year off right for just $30 or help a whole classroom full of kids for $600. Sponsor a student and then sign up to volunteer on that day to see the kid’s smiles and their eyes light up when they pick out their new backpack!
