The HEB Chamber of Commerce recognized 13 honorees at its Annual Awards Luncheon, held February 15 at the Texas Star Conference Center in Euless.
The event celebrates member businesses, organizations, and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the Chamber and the HEB community in 2018. Robert Earley, president and CEO of JPS Health Network, served as master of ceremonies. The winners:

Officer of the Year: Susan Shaw, Shaw Insurance Agency
Director of the Year: Mandy Eliot, Deep Roots DFW Realty
Ambassador of the Year: Gale Wagner, Steve Crabtree Insurance Agency
Gertrude Tarpley Memorial Spirit Award: Bobby Carr, BB&T
Chairman’s Award: John Fletcher, Fletcher Consulting Public Relations
Co-Members of the Year: Lindsey Colorado, Servpro of Hurst-Euless-Bedford and Leah Wood, Open Mortgage, L.L.C.

Bill Ridgway Spirit of Enterprise Award: NTE Mobility Partners
Clyde Mooney Award: Faye Beaulieu, United Way of Tarrant County
Earley said that Wells Fargo has been involved in a wide variety of local initiatives, including the Chamber’s Challenge by Choice and women’s leadership programs. “They are the true definition of community banking in our area,” he said.
The Clyde Mooney Award is the highest honor the Chamber bestows, and Earley said Faye Beaulieu was very deserving of it. Her community involvement includes the HEB Economic Development Foundation, the Northeast Leadership Forum and the Texas Association of School Boards. “Faye has been a fixture in Northeast Tarrant County for many years,” he said.
Mary Frazior, president and CEO of the Chamber, said the luncheon is an important event for the Chamber and the community.
“This is an opportunity for us to spotlight some of the members who made significant contributions in 2018,” Frazior said. “The honorees are an asset not only to the Chamber but to our community, and we are grateful to have them as members.”
