Summer Awards

Although the "lazy days of summer" are here, the Hurst Euless Bedford Chamber of Commerce continues to provide opportunities for you and your company to increase your visibility and bring in new customers.

Our Leads Groups continue to meet weekly and are always looking for additional members. Call the Chamber office at 817/283-1521 to find out which group needs someone in your industry or visit the groups to see which one works best for you: Tuesdays at 7:45 a.m., AM Networkers, Le Peep in Bedford; Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m., Power Networkers, Spring Creek Barbecue in Bedford; and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m., Focus Group, IHOP in Euless at SH121 and Glade.

Mark your calendars for the Chamber's Annual Awards Gala on Saturday, September 11 at the new Hurst Conference Center. At this new location, we will recognize the many volunteers that make the Chamber the successful business organization that it is today.

It's time to get your nominations in for the 2010 outstanding volunteers and the businesses of the year. A small, medium and large company will be recognized for their accomplishments and commitment to the community. The 2009 winners were Minuteman Press, Delgado Orthodontics and ONCOR Electric Delivery.

In addition to the businesses of the year, nominations are being accepted for the Member of the Year, the Gertrude Tarpley Memorial Spirit Award, the HEB Community Service Award and the Clyde Mooney Award.

Take some time off this summer, but please know that the HEB Chamber is open for business with a high level of activities and programs to help you promote your company and bring in new clients!
